Touring Abruzzo è stata per me una bella scoperta umana e professionale. Collaboro con Luciana ormai da un paio di anni nei suoi tour in Puglia e Basilicata dopo esserci incontrati casualmente. Ho da subito ammirato la sua professionalità, il suo entusiasmo e la sua grande attenzione al dettaglio. Molte delle persone che ho avuto modo di conoscere nei tour pugliesi avevano già visitato con lei l'Abruzzo e ne erano rimaste entusiaste al punto da decidere di affidarlesi nuovamente per scoprire altre regioni italiane.
L'attenzione per il confort di ogni singolo ospite, la ricerca costante e personale di luoghi meravigliosi ma non scontati, di esperienze genuine e coinvolgenti sono tra gli ingredienti di una ricetta, quella di Touringabruzzo, che non mancherà di ammaliare chiunque avrà l'occasione di assaggiarla.

Terzo appuntamento del 2018 con la sig.ra Luciana di Touring Abruzzo. Lei contribuisce a diffondere la conoscenza della nostra Necropoli (Campovalano di Campli) tra persone che abitano paesi lontani ed è per noi un modo gradito per farci conoscere. Luciana without a doubt made our vacation more than just a trip and into something that was an experience of a lifetime. Not only does she know all the great places to go, to eat, drink and see amazing things, but she does the little things. She weaves the rich history of this region into the discussions of everything you do. She brings local treats and drinks along to enhance the day. She picked us up without any background outside of the towns we wanted to visit where family had lived generations ago and was able to speak with the local government so we were able to dive into the birth and wedding archives and learn more about our family. She even got the mayor of the town on the phone and was able to coordinate an introduction to family members still living in the regions and even were able to find their house and got us in the Church they were baptized and married in. It was amazing to watch it all unfold...thank you for such a wonderful day Luciana!!!! Only regret was limiting to one day of our trip...

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! In June 2019 my family had an amazing trip with Luciana. She managed to meet our constrained time frame, and within that time frame, made our tour amazing. We met family, the mayor, visited the town hall, and saw churches and homes where my grandparents had lived. It was so special. We are still talking about it. I highly recommend Luciana. She is a great researcher and planner, and she created an amazing time in Abruzzo. She took care of everything. I wish we had stayed longer and I hope we can revisit. We would definitely book with Luciana again.

The trip of a lifetime! Luciana was a fabulous host because she knew all the locals and places to go off the beaten tourist trap. This was a very personal tour and showed us the insights to real Italy. Highly recommend.

I have had the most wonderful experience of traveling with Luciana on two tours of Abruzzo. My first tour, in 2016, was a four day dour with an additional day spent in my mother’s ancestral village of San Vito. Through Luciana’s diligent research and planning, we were able to find my Great grandmother’s birth record. We were warmly greeted by the mayor and his wife. We then had a delicious meal prepared in the home of a delightful young couple who were friends of Luciana. Note: Luciana has friends throughout Abruzzo, and, it is through them that she creates the most personal tours.My second tour was the 10 day Grand tour in 2018. Each day brought us close to these wonderfully warm and friendly Abruzzi people, with their rich culture, history and food. One discovers something new everyday. Luciana’s enthusiasm to enrich us is boundless. I plan to return to Abruzzo to do another tour and learn more about this largely undiscovered part of Italy where i will find Luciana taking me to the hearts of the people. I highly recommend having Luciana lead you through this region of Italy. Her attention to detail is close to perfection.

We had the most wonderful experience with Luciana and Touring Abruzzo. We were interested in learning more about our grandparents home towns, both in Abruzzo, and connecting with family. With the little bit of information we had available, Luciana was able to locate several members of our extended family. She coordinated a wonderful day together with them and a beautiful lunch. She located the houses that both of my grandparents grew up in and was even able to get us inside of one of them for a tour. I could go on and on about the details. The experience was priceless! I joined Luciana's small group tour Back Roads of Abruzzo in October and it was just wonderful! Everything I had hoped for and more was experienced in this beautiful region. Luciana's attention to detail made everything special - from the exceptional accommodations to the experiences meeting many of the local artisans and producers. What a fantastic region it is and so unique to be able to visit a place where mass tourism hasn't overtaken yet. Those stunning hilltop towns and lovely seaside villages were so different to other parts of Italy. If you want to experience a more authentic and less traveled Italy I can highly recommend Luciana and her wonderful tours.
